What We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data needed to keep the form from being abused.

• Contact form. If you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you type into it. We don't ask for anything else, and there's no account to create.
• Rate-limiting data. When the contact form is submitted, our server briefly notes the IP address the request came from, purely to stop spam and abuse of the form.
• Standard server logs. Like essentially any website, our hosting infrastructure keeps routine logs (IP address, browser/user agent, page requested) for a short time, for operational and security purposes. This is standard web-server behavior, not something our application code adds on top.

We do not have user accounts, we do not process payments, and there are no other forms anywhere on this site that collect information from you.

How We Use It

• Contact form submissions are used solely to read and respond to your inquiry. Your email address is set as the reply-to address so we can get back to you directly.
• Rate-limiting IP data is used only to detect and block spammy or abusive form submissions. It's held in server memory — not written to a database or disk — for up to 10 minutes, then discarded, and it is never linked to any other data we hold.

We do not sell or share your information with other third parties, and we do not use it to build a marketing list or send you anything other than a direct reply to your message.

Third Parties We Use

We use one third-party service: Resend (resend.com), a transactional email provider based in the United States. When you submit the contact form, your name, email, and message are sent through Resend's API to deliver that submission to our own inbox. Resend never talks to your browser directly — the request happens server-to-server, from our backend to Resend.

We don't use any other third-party services on this site — no analytics platforms, no advertising networks, no embedded widgets, no external scripts.

Cookies & Tracking

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind. There is no tracking pixel, no visitor fingerprinting, and no third-party script running in your browser other than the page itself.

The animated background you may see on our homepage is a WebGL particle effect that responds to your mouse and scroll position entirely inside your own browser. It doesn't collect, store, or send any data anywhere — it's purely visual.

Our fonts (Space Grotesk, Inter, and Noto Sans Runic) are self-hosted and served from our own domain via Next.js — your browser never contacts Google Fonts or any other font provider.

Data Retention

• Contact form submissions live in our inbox (delivered via Resend) for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and keep a record of the conversation.
• Rate-limiting IP data is discarded automatically after a maximum of 10 minutes and is never persisted to disk or a database.
• Standard server logs are retained briefly by our hosting infrastructure, consistent with normal operational and security practice.

Your Rights

If you've contacted us through the form, you can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Because we collect so little to begin with — just what you typed into one form — these requests are usually simple to fulfil. Email us at info@valkrix.com and we'll take care of it.
